Lose Myself

Lyrics

I know things would be better
If only you could learn to leave them alone
In this world of never-ever
Never want to be a figure
Faceless figure, oh no

I would rather die
Then lose myself again
To try to lose myself
Is to lose a friend

She knows what I want
But she keeps it from my reach

Miscellaneous Info

I seem to remember that none of us were very enthused about this song until we came up with the weird fade out. Then it became the most memorable song that we recorded. I remember that Joe had sleighbells wrapped around each ankle and he jogged in place while playing the slide whistle and occasionally yelling "Arriba!" and "Tengo naranjas in mi pantalones!". I damn near wet my pants from laughter afterwards.

I'm pretty sure that I'm the only person to have played a Talking Urkel Doll on a recording. Let me tell you, it's not the easiest instrument to master. It is the second easiest. The easiest one is bass.
