Out Of My Head

Lyrics

Well I used to think
It was something that I said
Always second guessing
What the hell was on your mind
A little bit of everything
Meant nothing much at all
But I knew someday I'd fall

Out of my head
Every word you day is driving me
Out of my head
Every single day your driving me
Out of my head

Too much time has passed now
There is nothing we can do
No more looking back
I wouldn't now. Would you?

It used to be so easy
Well, it used to feel so right
Every night

Miscellaneous Info

Joe wrote most of this one and I added the bridge. I think "A little bit of everything meant nothing much at all" is a cool line. Good job, Joseph Michael Mazzarella.

The backward whisper at the end was Joe's idea while we were in the studio. It's a subliminal message that if I remember correctly is "You want to have sex with Joe" said over and over again. I think he may have added "... and you're a girl" after we pointed out the possible unintended effect of his gender-neutral message. But, really, this addition would just make a man believe that he's a girl AND want to have sex with Joe.
