Lyrics
Well, I sometimes see your face
Even though you're no longer here
It's so hard to replace
What I had with you
I want you back around
My heart seems empty
Without you 'round me
I want you back around
So I can watch you sleep
Like I did so long ago
A love that ran so deep
How'd it fade away?
Do you ever feel the same?
Or do you still carry the blame
Around...

Miscellaneous Info
I remember writing this late one night after seeing Cheap Trick at the Coach House. Is it obvious? Actually, I think I wrote most of "Nothing Left To Say" that same night. There are definite Zanderisms in the phrasing of both songs. Too bad I'm no Robin Zander. I gave it my best shot on the outro, though.
I think this is the best bridge on this CD. I really like when it goes to the E minor on "blame".
