Soupy did an excellent job of breathing some life into the old demo of this song. And he also put me in contact with Dan Clucas who managed to make my first attempts at doing horn arrangements sound pretty good.
 
I had originally recorded a sloppy slide guitar track as a place holder for where I wanted the horns to go. It was particularly sloppy because: 1) I had never attempted to play slide before, and 2) I don't have a slide and had to use one of Shelly's rings. Joe Ongie decided to keep it in as it gave the horn part the illusion of having a trombone in it. A BADLY PLAYED trombone -- but a trombone nonetheless.
