Viva Pancho Fantastico!
Reviewed by Lani Anzivino / Seal Beach, CA on July 06, 2007
Pancho Fantastico is a superhero of an album, saving listeners with discerning taste from corporate schlock, one great tune after another. With 13 stylistically varied songs, stand-outs for me are 'Creepy,' 'Just Think It Over,' and 'We Can Never Be Friends' (listen for a terrific acoustic guitar solo on this one). Thanks to John Hoskinson's finely honed pop sensibility and enormous songwriting talent, Pancho’s in heavy rotation in my house. And if you’re a fan of The Beatles, Crowded House, or Michael Penn, I know you’ll love it, too.
